OBJACCT RELEASES v3.0 OF ITS XML ACCOUNTING SERVER FOR OEM, ASP AND VERTICAL MARKET VENDORS

Bowling Green, Ohio - (August 17, 2005) - ObjAcct, Inc. is pleased to announce v3.0 of its ObjAcct XML Accounting Server – OEM Edition designed specifically for OEM, ASP and vertical market integrators that wish to incorporate enterprise accounting functionality directly into their product offering.  The OEM Edition is “data-center and CD ready” and combines a complete “plug-n-play” accounting platform with an exhaustive application program interface (“API”) for straight-forward integration.  The system includes a complete software development kit (“SDK”) and API for Visual Studio .Net with over 1000 functions, over 800 XML web services, complete source code, a powerful integrated WYSIWYG Report Writer, both Web and Windows GUI “smart-client” user-interfaces, end-user customization, product build management tools, site management tools and extensive end-user and technical documentation.

The ObjAcct Report Framework provides a full report development environment for technical staff as well as end-users.  Using the built-in Report Writer, reports can be created and deployed quickly and existing reports can be safely customized by end-users without affecting master reports, even in an ASP environment.  Over 200 reports are included as well as an embedded macro language, drill-down, chart generation and extensive documentation.

Source code is also provided with the OEM Edition.  The system can be integrated quickly using the API and then modified and enhanced systemically as needed in the future.  Including source code addresses a key request of our OEM clients who view source code as long term security.

The ObjAcct XML WinLedger has been significantly expanded and now includes a full macro language, screen customization and support for high-volume enterprise clients with remote sites.  A key feature of the ObjAcct XML WinLedger is its powerful remote access capabilities using a standard user-friendly Windows GUI user interface.  Users can access a centralized ObjAcct server in real-time from any number of remote sites world-wide. 

The ObjAcct XML WebLedger has been enhanced to support the Firefox browser and provides a “drop-in” web-based accounting solution with basic accounting and report modules in an easy to deploy package.
